Payment and Insurance
I am an in-network provider for Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, HealthPartners, Cigna, and Medicaid/MA insurances. However, please verify I am in network with your specific plan. If you plan to use insurance, it is your responsibility to verify your benefits, verify that I am in network for your specific plan, and what your co-pay/co-insurance, rate, and deductible are. You will be charged the amount you owe for the session (this could be a co-pay, co-insurance, or the full contracted rate) when the claim is processed.
If you have Medica, United Healthcare, or Health EZ I am happy to submit Out of Network claims for you! You pas the session fees up front, I submit the claims, and you receive a percentage of the fees back (according to your Out of Network benefits). These insurers often have great Out of Network benefits - it is definitely worth exploring if you think I might be a good fit for you!
Many people choose to forgo insurance completely and pay fee-for-service. This allows YOU to:
Have more control over how often you are seen for therapy
Avoid receiving a mental health diagnosis
Not be limited by the constraints of a third party
Paying fee-for-service can also be significantly less expensive for clients with high deductible plans.
You may also be able to use Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts to fund your therapy services. Be sure to check with your insurance provider/Human Resources department for information about your coverage.
Please note I do not accept Workers Comp Insurance.
I am happy to discuss payment options so we can determine the best fit for you.
